Problem języka urzędowego w aktach ustawodawczych i działalności praktycznej Ukraińskiej Republiki Ludowej w czasach dyrektorii (listopad 1918 – listopad 1920)

Abstract

The paper deals with social and political aspects of the development of political status of the languages on territory of Ukrainian state during the Directoire. The legal powers of S. Petlura and of other superior officials with respect to regulation of issues concerning the official usage of the Ukrainian and Russian languages as well as the languages of other nationalities have been discussed. Furthermore, the bills on improvement of legal institute of the state language and the languages of national minorities have been analyzed.
