Przemysłowa i mieszkaniowa przestrzeń miasta Bydgoszczy u progu socjalistycznej industrializacji (1945-1949)

Abstract

The following outline of the problem concerns the issues of functional, spatial, social and economic nature, related to the condition and potential of the industrial and housing areas of Bydgoszcz from 1945 to 1949. The article presents general condition of the industry and housing management along with selected concepts of the extension or construction of investigated areas. This article also elucidates the phenomena of the administrative division of housing surplus and the seizure of building properties determined as abandoned or post-German. On the basis of objective criteria, the author presented the problems which are the most important, and above everything else, the most accessible when it comes to their sources. The author grounded the arguments mainly on archival resources generated by local administrative authorities that represented developing communist system.
