| dc.description | The aim of this article is to describe the category of „the global teenager” as an effect of global
culture and lifestyle. The author describes main features of the global teenager: fluency in English
language, using global entertainment, easiness in using modern mass media and consuming specific
brands. Therefore the global teenager is able to function in „teenage global culture” and lead

| dc.description.abstract | Celem artykułu jest charakterystyka kategorii globalnego nastolatka jako efektu globalnej kultury i stylu
życia. W ramach pracy autorka przybliżyła główne kryteria określające globalnego nastolatka: umiejętność
korzystania z globalnej rozrywki, łatwość w posługiwaniu się językiem angielskim, biegłość w wykorzystywaniu
współczesnych środków komunikacji i mediów oraz konsumowanie określonych marek. Globalny
nastolatek potrafi zatem umiejętnie funkcjonować w ramach „globalnej kultury młodzieżowej”, realizując
