| dc.description | This is a review article. The aim of the article is to show the picture of the biopsychosocial functioning of
adolescents with cancer, as well as to indicate the possibilities of their pedagogical support. The article
contains information on the period of adolescence, biopsychosocial functioning of adolescents with cancer,
their situation in the education system, as well as the possibilities of supporting them in the hospital and
parental school. Research quoted in the article indicates that teachers lack knowledge about the possibilities
of supporting adolescents with cancer. Therefore, it is necessary to include in the education process pedagogues,
educators and teachers at least basic information about the biopsychosocial functioning of adolescents
with cancer, as well as changes and difficulties arising as a result of the disease. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Artykuł ma charakter przeglądowy. Celem artykułu jest ukazanie obrazu funkcjonowania biopsychospołecznego
adolescentów z chorobą nowotworową, jak i również wskazanie możliwości ich pedagogicznego
wsparcia. W artykule zawarto informacje na temat okresu adolescencji, funkcjonowania biopsychospołecznego
adolescentów z chorobą nowotworową, ich sytuacji w systemie edukacji, jak i możliwości ich wspierania
w szkole szpitalnej oraz macierzystej. Przytaczane w artykule badania wskazują, że pedagogom brakuje
wiedzy na temat możliwości wspierania adolescentów z chorobą nowotworową. W związku z tym konieczne
jest włączanie do procesu kształcenia pedagogów, wychowawców i nauczycieli chociażby podstawowych
informacji dotyczących funkcjonowania biopsychospołecznego adolescentów z chorobą nowotworową, oraz
zmian i trudności pojawiających się na skutek choroby. | en_US |
