| dc.description | The paper contains an analysis of the different approaches to the process of conceptualizing childhood. In the
first part of the article the authors present a universal vision of childhood based upon the universal model of
human development. In the subsequent part of the paper they discuss, referring to the sociocultural perspective
on human development, the vision of a multitude of childhoods. In the final part of the article the authors
present main research paradigms existing within the field of developmental psychology and within the field

| dc.description.abstract | Autorki poddają analizie różne podejścia do procesu konceptualizowania dzieciństwa. W pierwszej części
artykułu prezentują uniwersalny model dzieciństwa wywodzący się z dominującego w psychologii rozwojowej
uniwersalnego modelu ludzkiego rozwoju. W dalszej kolejności, przywołując społeczno-kulturową perspektywę
rozpatrywania rozwoju człowieka, przedstawiają wizję wielości dzieciństw. W końcowej części artykułu
autorki omawiają zasadnicze paradygmaty badań nad dziećmi stosowane w głównym nurcie psychologii
