| dc.description | The paper considers religious education as a form of liberal education and its place in public education system
from the perspective of philosophy of education. It consists of four parts. The first one presents three examples
illustrating the attitude of academic pedagogues to religion and religious education, taken from the post-war
history of pedagogy in Poland. The second part explains the idea of liberal education and with reference to the
state system of education clarifies the public interest combined with it. In the third part there is outlined the
historical process which led to the marginalization of liberal education in the contemporary Polish philosophy
of education. At the end, in the last part of paper, the author formulates three demands on philosophy of
education arising from the recognition of religious education as a form of liberal education. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | W artykule rozważono kształcenie religijne jako formę kształcenia ogólnego i jego miejsce w systemie
oświaty publicznej z perspektywy pedagogiki ogólnej. Artykuł składa się z czterech części. Najpierw autor
przedstawił trzy przykłady obrazujące podejście pedagogów akademickich do religii i kształcenia religijnego,
które zostały zaczerpnięte z powojennych dziejów pedagogiki w Polsce. W drugiej części zaprezentował
ideę powszechnej edukacji ogólnokształcącej i wyjaśnił interes publiczny związany z koncepcją kształcenia
ogólnego. Na tym tle w kolejnej części zademonstrował proces historyczny, który doprowadził do zmarginalizowania
problematyki kształcenia ogólnego we współczesnej polskiej pedagogice ogólnej. Na zakończenie
sformułował wobec pedagogiki ogólnej trzy dezyderaty wynikające z uznania kształcenia religijnego jako
formy kształcenia ogólnego. | en_US |
