| dc.description | Article concerns the standards which are set in front of contemporary universities and it shows one of the
way out from the situation in which universities have been found. Currently universities are forced, among
other things, to fight for students, position in global market, universities have to introduce innovations and,
at the same time, have to stick to traditional values. In article attention was focused on internationalization
process of universities and benefits from this process were pointed out as well. Universities’ internationalization
has been perceived as a chance for defence of general education and avoiding transformation of
university into a higher vocational school. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Artykuł dotyczy wymagań, przed jakimi stają współczesne uniwersytety i proponuje określone rozwiązania.
Obecnie uniwersytety zmuszone są m.in. do „walki” o studenta, o swoją pozycję na globalnym rynku do
wprowadzania ciągłych innowacji i jednocześnie do trwania przy tradycyjnych wartościach. W artykule zwrócono
uwagę na proces internacjonalizacji uczelni i wskazano w nim korzyści z niego płynące. W procesie
tym dostrzeżono szansę obrony kształcenia ogólnego i uniknięcia przekształcenia uniwersytetu w wyższą
