Abstract

The text deals with the right to information on the environment and its protection as a fundamental right of each individual. After presenting the historical process of crystallization of the right to information the author deals with the sources of law, both international and domestic, that govern the right in question. The emphasis, however, is placed on legislation binding in the territory of the Republic of Poland
