Włocławski Inkubator Innowacji i Przedsiębiorczości jako czynnik rozwoju ośrodka subregionalnego

Abstract

Local self-government is an external factor supporting and stabilizing the conditions and opportunities for business development. The aim of the study was to determine the role that local government of Włocławek can serve for creation of such institutions as economic development zones, business incubators and innovation. Economic Development Zone with Industrial Technology Park has been established within the city of Wloclawek. This project was implemented by the city of Wloclawek with the help of funds from the European Union and as a result Włocławski Inkubator Innowacji i Przedsiębiorczości have been created. In the incubator the are spaces provided for businesses that have just started their production or services and are in process of implementing innovation. In the Incubator young entrepreneurs canobtain assistance in establishing business contacts in the first, the most difficult period of its existence The incubator provides assistance in marketing, conducting training process and also provides consulting services. After two years of Wloclawek Incubator it can be concluded that all capabilities and options that Inkubator gives, are not fully utilized.
