| dc.description | The author presents the results of own quantitative research on the dilemmas of modern women in connection
with taking the mother’s role (giving birth or eg. the adoption) and the playing this role (ie. looking after
a child and raising a child). The author shows answers of 206 women aged 18-40 years to the questions of
the existence of these dilemmas, their content (the subject), the perceived sources and methods used by
women to deal with these dilemmas. Subject appears to be up to date, and the results and conclusions seem

z podejmowaniem roli matki (a więc urodzeniem dziecka lub np. jego adopcją), jak i pełnieniem tej roli
(tj. sprawowaniem nad nim opieki i wychowaniem). Prezentuje odpowiedzi 206 kobiet w wieku 18-40 lat
na pytania o występowanie tych dylematów, ich treść (przedmiot), spostrzegane źródła oraz stosowane przez
kobiety sposoby radzenia sobie z nimi. Temat wydaje się aktualny, a wyniki badań i wnioski ważne z uwagi
