Abstract

Special economic zones (SSE) which were created in Poland based on the act of special economic zones from 1994, constitute the reply to the transformation structure-economic after 1989. At present in Poland she is functioning 14 of such zones. From them zone was first an Euro-Park in Mielec, created in 1995. Acts appointed for a period of 20 years, but the change were SSE extended this period to 2020. SSE is an allocated and uninhabited part of the territory of the country, where the business activity can be led on preferential conditions. In SSE a possibility of using tax breaks is a basic benefit to acting entrepreneurs. It consists in dismissing the entrepreneur from paying the income tax. He is included in main SSE tasks above all: precipitating the growth in the economy of the allocation of the territory of the country, increasing the competitiveness of regions, the development of areas in the neighbourhood of zones and reducing unemployment. What important they are fulfilling their objectives in the very good step. Entrepreneurs willingly are investing in SSE, and the number of places of employment created in them every year is rising.
