| dc.description | Basic mathematical culture is defi ned as the whole knowledge, competencies and skills, that a student should ilate/acquire during each level of education. In mathematical culture, an ability for mathematical thinking is created, which is essential in everyday life for everyone. The researches of Program for International Student Assessment (PISA) show, that although results of polish students in mathematical part of exams, reached a level comparable to the average of the OECD countries, there is still a lot of work ahead of us, to join the best. In this study were analyzed the results of polish students in PISA researches, in the context of their basic mathematical culture. Also defi ned the concept of basic mathematical culture, mathematical thinking and presented conclusions. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Elementarną kulturą matematyczną nazywamy ogół wiedzy, kompetencji i umiejętności, które powinny stać się udziałem uczniów danego etapu edukacji. W kulturze matematycznej kreuje się, niezbędna dorosłemu człowiekowi w codziennym życiu, umiejętność myślenia matematycznego. Badania PISA pokazują, że chociaż wyniki polskich gimnazjalistów w części matematycznej osiągnęły poziom porównywalny do średniej państw członkowskich OECE, to wciąż jeszcze przed nami wiele pracy, zanim dołączymy do najlepszych.
W niniejszej pracy przeanalizowano wyniki polskich uczniów w badaniach PISA, w kontekście ich elementarnej kultury matematycznej. Zdefiniowano także pojęcia elementarnej kultury matematycznej, myślenia matematycznego i wyprowadzono wnioski. | en_US |
