The problem of the womanhood domain in culture and culture in a woman is the subject of many years of research and revisions developed, which needs to be emphasized, in the second half of the previous century. At that time realized this which has evolved with changeable luck since ancient ages since the oldest era of matriarchy, epochs of peace and welfare, epochs of great goddesses, transformed in the Bronze era into the beginnings of patriarchy initiated by the development of herding and male nomadism. The ideas of monotheistic religions fundamental for the negative evolution of the views about the female role in social life are panoramically described by Zygmunt Krzak in the monograph From the matriarchy to patriarch. The author of the article deals among others with taking over greater and greater role by women in the social life, and above all artistic life.en_US
