Google czy bibliotekarz? Potrzeby i oczekiwania użytkowników Internetu w Bibliotece Głównej UKW w Bydgoszczy

Abstract

The Internet is an extremely attractive medium offering access to enormous resources of knowledge which, however, are scattered and differentiated. This report contains the analysis of the research carried out at the beginning of 2009 in the computer laboratory at the Main Library of the Kazimierz Wielki University. It concerned the students’ skills in utilizing the digital resources as well as other searching tools, accessible in the Internet. The other important part of the research was to gain information about the expectations towards librarians working in the Information Department.
