Zastosowanie modelu Rascha w konstruowaniu narzędzia do badania zdrowej osobowości

Abstract

The aim of this article is the presentation of the usefulness of seizing methodological leaning on the logistic Rasch-model in constructing new diagnostic tools bearing upon healthy personality The POA questionnaire (Measurement of the Author's Personality) is destined to examine the author's personality based on the Kazimierz Obuchowski's personality theory. The article presents basic foundations of the Rasch model, the information on theoretical and empirical bases of new tools and example - results obtained thanks to using this model with reference to the created personality questionnaire. A theoretical base of the psychological measurement in the research project was item response theory (IRT) ~ one of the theories of latent classes which is the gathering of statements describing the manner into what the person examined answers to each item in the test. Rasch model descends from this theory. The basic foundation of this model refers to conditions of the independence. The usage of Rasch model makes possible the procurance of the objectivity of the measurement. The WINMIRA computer programme was used to examine the degree of fitting of the model to the POA questionnaire. Then it was possible to make the practical valuation of suitable parameters of the Rasch model by maximum likelihood methods using series of iterative procedures. Within the framework of works passed in IPN (Leibniz-lnstitut fur die Padagogik der Naturwissenschaften-Kiel University) over methodological aspects of the POA questionnaire we obtained results giving a new approach to the problems of the author's personality.
