dc.description.abstract | Role-playing game (RPG) is a form of play with imagination that is very popular among teenagers and young adults. The identification with imaginal hero and the construction of alternative world in the group of players open the area for empirical and theoretical studies especially as role-playing games have rather poor representation in psychological research and the role-play heroes are seldom taken into account. The aim of the article is the presentation of research concerning RPG. The Five Factor Model of personality by Costa & McCrae gives the structure of the presentation and the discussion. The suggestions of further psychological research on RPG phenomenon are enclosed. | en_US |
