Abstract

Academic librarians from 59 state universities participate in scientific communication by publishing works in the field of information and library science, part of this research concerns the history of books, libraries and the press until 1945. So far, they have been reviewed for the period 2013-2015. The presented analysis is a continuation and covers the period from 2016 to 2018. The obtained data will be presented based on the assumptions of the statistical bibliography method. Much of the focus was on the presence of these publications in the web space compared to the previous research period. The adopted research hypotheses are: articles from journals are much more visible than monographic publications and collective works; Librarians make little use of other forms of promotion of their own publications and limit themselves to registering them in university databases and repositories.
