dc.description.abstract | This article presents results of a study carried out in elder of primary schools in Poznan concerning the problem in the title. The W. Scott questionnaire was used. The following conclusions were reached after the analysis of the answers: 1) adolescents in Poland participate with their parents in works for the family and household, 2) eleven types of work are carried out by adolescents with their parents in the house, 3) the frequency sequence of the most usual works was as follows: room tidying, washing the kitchen utensils, food shopping, holiday planning, maintenance of contacts with more distant relatives, planning the expenditures, planning the education, 4) the following works were most closely connected with sex: mea l preparation, listening to family troubles, emotional support given to other family members (mothers were usually engaged in this activity) and all repairs in the house (done by fathers, often with help of their sons). | en_US |
