The purpose of the study was to describe usefulness of spontaneous drawings painted by preschool children in diagnosis of their adaptation disturbances. The empirical investigation was extended over 120 children (4 years old) and 120 children (5 years old). The Test of Coloured Piramids, and spontaneous activity in painting were used in three time points (initial. after 2 month, ad after 8 month). The results concern the influence of difficult situations experienced by children on the form and content of their spontaneous drawings. There is shown that various features of spontaneous drawings are helpful in diagnosis of children's disturbances of adaptation.en_US
