Abstract

The Lithuanian educational system changes demanded by the rapid pace of the process of reforming in collaborating Europe. In searching for the new perspectives in education which would improve the compe­ tences and learning outcomes and which would facilitate the mobility of Lithuanian youth, there is the obvious necessity to protect the rich natio­ nal and local diversity of cultural heritage. The article seeks to scrutinize some of possible aims and objectives of the innovating process being introduced in the educational structures in Lithuania
