Abstract

The article analyses the concept of globalization with the special emphasis put on the notion of cultural identity. The author claims that it has become inevitable to create cultural animation projects in accordance with the needs and claims of local communities. This is because the process of globalisation has expanded the cultural exchange but ceased to create the one-identity global citizen. The analysis is fulfilled with three examples of cultural practices organised by culture institutions in three different countries.
