Abstract

The purpose of the research was to determine the relation between the quality of social support of mothers and the quality of communication with peers of the same sex. The whole study was based on assumptions that the kind and force of social support are the resilience factors in the relations of daughters with the peers of the same sex. Data was collected from a sample of 138 female pupils aged 15 and 16. Researcher employed: Scale of Social Support (SWS) and a sociometric questionnaire - Plebiscite Of Kindness and Reluctance by Korczak. The initial results of the research indicate that the quality of co1ru'nunication and kind of social support depend on communication with peers of the same sex.
