Until 1945 Poland was a multilingual and multicultural country. Currently, it is a country that is almost homogeneous linguistically and culturally, linguistically and nationally. Recently, as a result of political changes and globalization, migration movements in Poland have intensified. Children with various migration experiences appeared in Polish schools. The aim of the article is to show how the Polish education system is able to accept young migrants both at the level of educational law and preparing teachers for intercultural education.
