dc.description.abstract | The purpose of the research was to verify whether the effectiveness of strategies for solution of intellectual problems grow during adolescence and whether changes occur in the situational and personality conditioning of intellectual efficacy. Subjects made up two 90-person groups aged 11;1-14;6 and 14;7-17; 11 selected on the basis of above average results on the Raven Test. The Self Acceptance Scale SQ developed by Anna and Jerzy Brzeziński was used to establish the self-evaluation level of subjects (low, moderate, high). Following this, the subjects resolved intellectual problems of three degrees of difficulty. From the results, strategy was found to develop during adolescence, and growth was established in the adequacy of strategies to situational conditions. The influence of self evaluation on efficacy varied with criteria of effectiveness, age, and degree of problem difficulty. | en_US |
