Abstract

Transport infrastructure is one of the crucial elements of the urban landscape. It reflects the human activty, as well as the environment reshaping and the level of the culture development. In the case of Paris the infrastructure mentioned above seems to be a kind of brand a showcase of the capital of France. It is recognizable and appreciated by tourists from all over the world. From the other side, the insufficient spatial reserves of the city force the diminution of the transport areas (especially these, connected with railway). This process occurs by the investments which change the spatial and functional structure in the mentioned areas.
