dc.description.abstract | The article presents the problem of language and cultural barriers which make reception of literary texts difficult for the primary and grammar school pupils. The conclusions are supported by lexical analysis of Kornel Makuszyńskńs Szatan z siódmej klasy. Creative modification of many phraseological units, the diversity of obsolete, solemn and infrequently used words, the richness of syntax and a lot of Latin citations - are fundamental obstacles to the meaning of the text. Other impediments are numerous references to literature and history. These references aren't related to the contemporary model of education so the correct reception of literary text should be supported by careful and exact editorial study but it would destroy the joy of reading. | en_US |
