Problem uchodźstwa wojennego w dziełach wybranych twórców kultury i sztuki w XXI wieku

Abstract

The article discusses the different ways of presenting the war refugee problem in contemporary arts and culture. By analyzing theater plays, music songs and documentary films the authors show various artistic visions of the course and consequences of ongoing armed conflicts, especially in Syria. The authors focus not only on international reactions to the war but also refer to achievements of Polish artists in this field. Initiatives aimed at helping civilian populations under armed conflict and involving theater, film and music figures are also pointed out in the article.
