Młodzi dorośli wobec współczesnych zagrożeń dla bezpieczeństwa - refleksje empiryczne

Abstract

The article presents the analysis of the outcomes resulting from empirical study, which was performed from January 2015 through May 2015. The study was carried out with the participation of 700 volunteers from Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship between 16 and 24 years of age. The respondents were high school students, university students and working adolescents. The main aim of the research project was to attempt to answer the question: in which way the recent events on the international arena - namely, among others, the war in Ukraine and Syria or growing activity of Islamic terrorist groups ֊ translate into the system of values, the way of perceiving the hierarchy of threats or the willingness of young adults to sacrifice themselves in order to fight against modern threats to safety.
