Abstract

The article discusses the different ways of presenting the global environmental problems in contemporary arts and culture. By analyzing selected works in literature, documentary films, and music songs, the author shows the various artistic visions of direction and consequences of global environmental crisis. The main conclusion of the article shows that genre of ecological art is becoming more and more popular in XXI century. Both among artists and recipients of their art. However, despite the growing ecological problems and their social effects, it still does not reach critical mass
