Obraz niepełnosprawności w wypowiedziach osób niepełnosprawnych oraz przyszłych nauczycieli

Abstract

The aim ofthis article is to compare the picture of disability appearing in the sent by handicapped people for the literary competition with the competition works of students of Polish who would like to be teachers in the future. The comparison reveals both common features such as referring to the metaphor of fight, darkness, abyss, judgement and barriers and to the differences in judging healthy people and places such as hospitals and sanatoriums. The article draws attention to the sources and ways ofstereotypes connected with the disability. Moreover, it presents the future teacher’ attitude towards breaking these stereotypes.
