Abstract

An evaluative reflection distinctly creates “immament world” of the collection Matka Odchodzi by Tadeusz Różewicz. The trial of rescuing the mother and the world surrounding her from the oblivion’s past has the influence on it too. Evaluative marking is developed by the artistic creation ofthe house, where there is no material dimension it is important but a specific character of spiritual space created by a deeply human family. A poet, having “conversation” with his dead mother, reliving all that is passed, recalls tragic events and notices that due to the death of somebody who is close to you a special type of closeness is fullfilled. It is realised in a silęnt sphere because it is “free from words”. It presents the possibile opportunity of being completly absorbed in the presence of another person. Such closeness is “an indication of the presence to the presence” , which convinces us that the mother does not go anywhere.
