Abstract

Crystallized in war work of Maria Pawlikowska-Jasnorzewska poetic reflection, taking the identity problem, shows transition which aims to ease a dynamics of chaos resulting from a definite change in the position, tends to put into experience an ordering boundary situation. Establishing new rules of getting used to the feeling of to -be -not at home clearly highlights the concretion of the moment of crossing the threshold of “bidirectional identity” and formulation “ the third value”. Based on a memory of the past, careful observation of the present to the awareness of loss, appears a new formula to experience yourself, pointing to finding the possibility to accept our being in the present, position in the area designated in an individual way, in which closeness to the homeland and strangeness of the country of settlement become dimensions that complement each other.
