Abstract

In every country, from always next ruling teams aimed education with presented political line. They served in this, among others school books. The article discusses the results of research on the manner of presenting „communist times” in Polish history textbooks. The analysis covered textbooks from three periods: the PRL, post-Solidarity and contemporary times. In addition, the program assumptions and textbooks after the reform in 1999 (in upper secondary schools since 2002) were compared with the concept of the 2017 reform
