| dc.description.abstract | The article reports a study which compared the aspirations and needs revealed in samples of 100 fifteen year old adolescents in the years 1979 and 1985. Results showed numerous changes in the structure and hierarchy of adolescents’ needs. The most striking was a drop in the intensity of prosocial needs. The most salient life aspirations of young people did not change significantly an d continued to include attainment of a satisfying profession and founding a family. Less important aspirations underwent change in the direction of material goals. | |
