| dc.description | The growing process of the society ageing is the issue which reąuires one to think over
the life ąuality in the time of late adulthood. There exists a great need for the participation
of the elderly in the educational activities which are seen by them not only as the intellectual
and cultural entertainment but are also the mental training leading to independence, emancipation
and constant development. This independence of the elderly should be the main
focus of their education. In the presented paper the aspect of taking up educational activity
by the elderly has been raised. This is followed by the analysis of the surrounding problems
seen as the background research for the chosen educational and vocational activities carried
out in 2008 and 2009 on the elderly in Poland, Kujawsko-Pomorskie Province. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Postępujący proces starzenia się społeczeństw to zjawisko, które wymaga zastanowienia
się nad jakością życia w okresie późnej dorosłości. W związku z tym istnieje ogromna potrzeba
udziału osób starszych w przedsięwzięciach edukacyjnych, które stanowią dla nich
nie tylko rozrywkę intelektualną i kulturalną, ale także trening intelektualny prowadzący do
niezależności, emancypacji i stałego rozwoju. Ta niezależność osób starszych powinna stanowić
zasadniczy cel ich edukacji. W zaprezentowanym opracowaniu podjęty został aspekt
podejmowania aktywności edukacyjnej przez osoby w wieku senioralnym oraz analiza problemów
z nim związanych, na tle ogólnych badań dotyczących podejmowania aktywności
edukacyjnej i zawodowej przez osoby starsze w Polsce, przeprowadzonych w roku 2008
i 2009 na terenie województwa kujawsko-pomorskiego. | en_US |
