| dc.description | In A play in/with sacrum in speculative fiction (The Book Of All Hours by Hal Duncan), he author reflects upon the usage of miopist as a toll for constructing metanarrative motifs in a fantasy novel pointing out the fact that literature uses mythical stories bereft of their sacral meaning. Furthermore, the author presents how a writer employs postmodern literary techniques in order to describe the relation between the myth and the modern culture and this can be done only by consequently “playing” with the myth, re-telling, reinterpreting and dispelling it. | en_US |

Wskazuje on na fakt, że literatura wykorzystuje opowieści mityczne, lecz pozbawione są one znaczenia sakralnego. W kolejnych krokach autor przedstawia, w jaki sposób pisarz wykorzystuje postmodernistyczne techniki literackie dla opisu relacji mir - kultura współczesna.
