Abstract

The modern world is changing at an unimaginable pace, which is associated with the process of globalization. We are witnesses a great transformation in the political, economic and social sphere and therefore new challenges and threats. Niklas Luhmann predicted it and defined in systems theory the most important problems of the present. Global society produces all dysfunctions by itself and then must wrestle with them - examples of such problems are all social conflicts. What is the function of the conflict, in particular the war? What does it mean for a man and global society? And is it possible at all to avoid a war in the future?
