Abstract

The aim of the article is the characteristic of Bydgoszcz city space considering its attractiveness for the residential purposes. Diversification of the city space can influence on decisions “where to live” in the city, because some areas are more predestined to residential functions. The residential attractiveness means different for various people. But it shoud be underlined that the residential attractiveness of the area is connected with some objective indicators such as infrastructure, quality of the environment or communication accessibility.
