Polska Gazeta Introligatorska, published in 1928-1933, was up to the present day the only trade magazine intended for book-binders. It was a private entreprise owned by Ignacy Kozlowski, a book-binder from Poznan, associated with a well-known printer and bibliophile Jan Kuglin. The magazine published many articles containing valuable professional advice which was extremely precious as no professional coursebook existed at that time. At the first moment ”Polska Gazeta Introligatorska” gained a great interest of the book-binding milieu in the whole country, however it was not able to maintain the sales on a satisfying level, which, alongside with the financial problems due to recession, contributed to the magazine’s ruin.en_US
