| dc.description | Protests in the postsoviet republics and, very recently, in Middle East and North African countries have focused attention again on the subject of the revolution. This paper is interested in events which happened in Kyrygyzstan in March 2005 commonly labeled as “the tulip revolution”. However, the aim of the article is not to provide objective depiction of the events or the answer the question what really was “the Tulip revolution”. Instead, it seeks to reveal the mechanisms of the interpretation and discursive construction of the events of March 2005 in the acts

| dc.description.abstract | Protesty społeczne ogarniające republiki postsowieckie, a niedawno kraje Bliskiego Wschodu i Afryki Północnej, ponownie skierowały uwagę na zjawisko rewolucji. Przedmiotem zainteresowania niniejszego artykułu są wydarzenia w Kirgistanie w marcu 2005 r. określane mianem tulipanowej rewolucji. Chodzi jednak nie o obiektywizujący opis zaistniałych wydarzeń czy poszukiwanie odpowiedzi na pytanie, czym naprawdę była rewolucja tulipanowa z 2005 r. w Kirgistanie. Celem artykułu jest próba pokazania, jak zachodzące wydarzenia były konstruowane w procesie publicznej komunikacji przez beneficjenta tych wydarzeń, dochodzącego na szczyty hierarchii władzy i obejmującego stanowiska prezydenta Kirgistanu Kurmanbeka Bakijewa. | en_US |
