Dosadność, odwaga, bezkompromisowość ..., czy agresja językowa? Waldemar Łysiak o Lechu Wałęsie w "Micie tytana Nikodema W."

Abstract

The text is devoted to the analysis of language exponents used by W. Łysiak in the description of L. Wałęsa’s profile. The language material was taken from W. Łysiak’s set entitled “Mitologia świata bez klamek”, particularly from the chapter “Mit tytana Nikodema W.” Among the analyzed linguistic expressions phrases replacing L. Walęsa’s name, which are always of negative character, oscillating between irony and contempt; terms that can be stylistically characterized as colloquial and/or common; formative neologisms with a foreign compound clause, informing about the reproduction of what the basis says can be isolated. Selected examples illustrate the type of verbal aggressive behavior, clearly opposing the rules of linguistic politeness. They document the intentional disapproval of the object of evaluation, undermining the so-called own image, superposition of the language of emotion and ideology.
