| dc.description | Migration has probably become one of the most important determinants of global health and social development. Poland has been an emigration country for few centuries now. Emigration from Poland used to be predominantly of long-term or permanent character. In the last 20 years it has gained characteristics of a shuttle or circular migration. Historically, human migration has had a major impact on the spread of tuberculosis (TB). According to a recent estimate, more than 150 million people are long-term residents of a country other than their country of birth. This paper aims to give an influence of the migration mainly for work on the respiratory diseases mainly tuberculosis as health problem in Poland. Wholesome problems are happened at recurring for abroad, particularly important in the range of the lung diseases often. Work and the magnitude of duties the growth of these diseases causes, already seen after the return to the country particularly. One can not skip this problem in the aspect of tuberculosis. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Migracje ludnościowe są prawdopodobnie jednym z najważniejszych problemów światowego zdrowia i rozwoju społeczeństw. Polska jest krajem emigracji przez wiele wieków do chwili obecnej. W ostatnich 20 latach charakteryzuje się dużymi wahaniami migracyjnymi. Historycznie ludzka migracja miała główny wpływ na rozpiętość gruźlicy (TB). Zgodnie
z niedawną oceną, więcej niż 150 milionów ludzi jest długotrwałymi mieszkańcami kraju innego niż kraj urodzenia. Artykuł ten próbuje zbadać wpływ migracji głównie w aspekcie chorób układu oddechowego, głównie gruźlicy jako problem zdrowia w Polsce. Problemy zdrowotne są często spotykane u powracających za zagranicy, szczególnie ważne w zakresie chorób płuc. Praca i ogrom obowiązków w krajach wyjazdu powoduje wzrost tych chorób, stwierdzany już po powrocie do kraju. W aspekcie gruźlicy nie można tego problemu pominąć. | en_US |
