Relations between work and life as a way to a balanced development

Abstract

The paper deals with the issue of work-life relations, especially with the balance between the two areas of human activity. The balance is one of the factors which ensure achieving high quality of life. The reflections presented in the paper concern non-stop society which may generate dangers both to human existence and the biosphere itself. The work-life balance has been proved to be a priority in achieving the goals of the European strategy for economic and employment growth. The growth requires special attention and taking complex actions which will build appropriate relations between the two areas of human life.
