Wybrane aspekty kultury książki i prasy cyfrowej w opinii czytelników Biblioteki Głównej UKW w Bydgoszczy

Abstract

The paper presents the results of the research conducted at Kazimierz Wielki University Main Library in Bydgoszcz among a selected group of its users. They concerned the presence of electronic publications in the cultural and educational space of Bydgoszcz’s students, their competence in using digital texts as well as their preferences in choosing a particular medium of information. The aim of this study was to identify not only the expectations of the modern academic library user, but also to identify collection strategies and optimization rules for access to library resources in the coming years.
