Streszczenie
The author shows the problem of education of handicapped children in a perspective of developmental phases, starting with the foetal period. She analyzes Polish educational system and leads to pessimistic conclusions. This article also points at some positive changes such as development of integrative schools but is says that in Polish educational system we cannot still find proper conditions for assisting the development of children with special needs.
