Abstract

The contents of this article is a presentation of results of a fragment of widely spread research concerning the knowledge of grown-ups as far as the growth of children is concerned. It concerns a youth growth from a very general point of view, but non only that, what is very important is looking up after children and their upbroughtas it is suggested by the magazine “Your Child”. During the period of 48 years when it goes out, that means during the space of time between l951-1998. The analyses of it allowed to undertake a trial to estimate the value of this magazine non only as a source of complete and realistic knowledge concerning this topic, but also as a model of development and bringing up presented by this magazine.
