Abstract

Job market is determined primarily by national factors, but also by outside factors that are related mainly to globalization of the world economy. Unemployment is a very complex phenomenon, having its economic, legal and social dimension. It has an impact not only on dynamics of economic development, but also standard of living, deciding about social moods. Economic practice proved that free market mechanism is not able to effectively prevent unemployment, particularly in a period of economic slowdown. Therefore, a well-thought-out, determined effort not only on the part of the government is needed – the current situation on the job market is a challenge for all of us.
