Abstract

Inowrocław has always been an important centre of local newspapers in the poviat and in a considerable part of Kuyavia. The first German newspaper - „Kujawischer Bote” existed in the years 1874-1945; the most important Polish newspaper „Dziennik Kujawski” was published in the years 1893-1939, „Kujawiak” - 1884, „Głos Kujawski” - 1888/1889.
