dc.description.abstractln his psychoanalysis theory Freud returned many times to the problem of God. He was a person who didn't believe in God so he didn't ask about God (because for him God didn't exist), he asked about the idea of God. Freud tried to explain appearance of the idea of God in the human history and in the individual biography. According to Freud's theory the basic element in development of religion was a murder of the father which took place in the remote past. ln an individual biography the most important, in psychoanalysis conception, is relation between a father and a son because personal idea of God depends on figure of the real father. For Freud religion was a form of neurosis, in his work he indicated similarity between neurosis symptoms and rituals.en_US
