The article is an attempt to analyse the factors conditioning leadership among university students. An assumption has been adopted that these factors can include features of personality and attitudes of parents towards their children. After using the PCR Roe and Sigelman questionnaire and 16 factors questionnaire of R. Cattell it has been found that the most favorable attitudes for leadership features development is moderately intense liberal but also exacting, demanding attitude of parents towards children. If the demands are too low and liberalism towards children goes too far the effect on the development of leadership predispositions is not favorable. The most important features among youth leaders according to the Cattell questionnaire above mentioned are: strong character, domination, expansiveness, courage, small sensibility, rationalism, self-sufficiency and unconventionality.en_US
